SFAA Tactical Raffle!

Here we go again! Thanks to our great contributors KWA USA, Princeton Tec and Revision Military we are able to provide the community with this awesome raffle! What we have here is a three tier raffle going on.  Not only do you now have the chance to win one of the three prizes below, but you could even win all three! All proceeds will be going towards the development of our county sanctioned airsoft field. Take a look, click the donation button and help us reach our goal so we can provide a safer community for everyone! Thank you for your support and good luck! The drawing will be held on Sunday May 13th 2012.

A Message from the SFAA President

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support and give a brief explanation of what it is we are doing and why. No special effects or credits. Just me, my phone and a sincere Thank You for all the support we have received over the past two years.

Thank You Princeton Tec!

On behalf of the South Florida Airsoft Community I would like to thank the great staff over at Princeton Tec for the recent donation to the South Florida Airsoft Association. They have been kind enough to donate more than a couple of lights for us to raffle off in the hopes to raise money for our field. This is just a fine example of how the gap between our communities is getting smaller and smaller. I will continue to help bridge that gap as well.

So stay tuned and get ready for some really great raffle prizes. I can assure you there will be more than just some really impressive tactical and helmet lights!

Win a Princeton Tec Helmet Light!

We all love accessories for our gear. Especially when its free! Princeton Tec is holding a contest for everyone with a helmet for airsoft, or shooting or whatever. Check out the rules on the image below, then click on the image to be sure to like their facebook page. Good luck!

Tactical MilSim Magazine and the SFAA.

Recently, I have been fortunate enough have a lengthy conversation with the Owner of Tactical MilSim Magazine MSG (Ret) Howard “Mad Max” Mullen. For those who are unfamiliar with that name, allow me to help explain.

Master Sergeant (Ret.) Howard “Mad Max” Mullen, a 26 year United States Army veteran, is known as one of the most dynamic Rangers to ever serve in the US Army. Beginning in 1979, Mullen served with the elite fighting force group through the decade and into the mid-1990s. During “Operation Urgent Fury” on October 25, 1983, Mullen conducted a 500ft combat parachute assault on the island of Grenada. He has over 250 static line airborne jumps. MSG Mullen is also well known and respected in the mil-sim community and has participated in some of the largest mil-sim events in the US. His experience bridges the gap from real-world military and law enforcement to the tactical mil-sim community. In addition, Mullen has appeared in movies, books, magazines, commercials, and national print ads, as well as public speaking engagements.

MSG Mullen stands behind our cause and look in the future for more to come with us and Tactical MilSim magazine. Mr. Mullen believes that we are doing can not only help bridge the gap between our local community members and our airsoft community but the gap between us and our local law enforcement community. Stay tuned for more great information regarding this relationship and our new field. Until then, please enjoy this commercial, as I know most of you will.
