Who is SFAA?

The first legally recognized airsoft organization in the State of Florida. The SFAA was designed to build and maintain a safe, sanctioned airsoft field within a county park and work directly with County officials to ensure the safety of the community and its players. Committed to educating the community with core values such as honor, integrity and teamwork.

Daniel Stein - President / Founder

Originally from Long Island, NY, Dan spent a lot of his time either skateboarding, snowboarding or working as a graphic designer. His move to Florida in 2005 changed everything. He was introduced to airsoft just before his daughter Marlee was born. As a military enthusiast he quickly enjoyed the sport and the people involved in it. “I found it a great way to get away from the usual stress of being a new dad, and noticed a sense of brotherhood and camaraderie that you don’t find in other hobbies.” He then realized the need for a dedicated field for the hobby. His vision started with just a petition and a non stop positive attitude. Almost 2 years later he has succeeded and continues to work with Palm Beach County Parks Department and the Airsoft Community to further the growth of the sport.

“A community such as this should be united however possible. The SFAA will make that possible for all of South Florida.” - Daniel “Shooter” Stein

Sean Gallagher – Chief Special Operations Officer

Born and raised in Hialeah, Fl. Sean has been a lifelong military enthusiast and competition shooter. At 13 he was competing in skeet and sporting clays tournaments and later moved into cowboy action shooting, which is how he earned his call sign. A co worker introduced Sean to airsoft back in 2005 and Sean has been active in the community ever since. He has played with some of the top mil-sim teams in the south Florida area over those years and has also gotten to play in some of the best venues in the state. During this time he has also had the chance to train with some of the top tactical instructors in the area (and one well known not so local guy) to further improve his skills on and off the field. Sean has been a supporter of SFAA since its inception because we are quickly losing good, legal places to play and the community needs a place for airsofters, by airsofters run by airsofters.

“Are ya’ll gonna cowboy up? Or am I gonna have to John Wayne this myself!?!” Sean “Cowboy” Gallagher
